Micro:bit Lesson 1: Using the built-in sensors

An introduction to the micro:bit board from Adafruit with a focus on the the accelerometer and magnetometer (compass) sensors.

This lesson will walk you through using the MakeCode visual programming platform and the micro:bit’s accelerometer to make a simple movement activated alarm as well as learning how to use the micro:bit’s magnetometer chip to detect the presence of a magnet.
